Why do your prices seem more expensive than other competitors?
Our prices do not have any hidden costs, unlike our competitors. Many other companies will lure you in with a "cheap" price and then start with the "optional extras" such as coating your alloy wheels and glass. Most of the time our competitors pricing will be higher than ours if you fully option your package with them. We also include a machine polish service in our package, which our competitors again charge extra for!
So what comprises the service?
Your vehicle is washed, chemically and mechanically decontaminated, machine polished, de-waxed and Body Armour 9H applied to all exterior surfaces of your vehicle, except soft rubbers or tyres. Alloy wheel faces and glass coating is included in the total cost. The time needed complete work can range anywhere from 4 hours to 8 hours, depending on the size and condition of your car. Why does my brand new car need a machine polish?
The truth of the matter is your vehicle will not be delivered in perfect condition. Your vehicle has been washed and polished several times before you even picked it up. If the people that have touched your vehicle are inexperienced or have rushed the work, your paintwork will be left looking in lacklustre condition, full of micro marring, machine polisher buffer trails and holograms. Your car dealer may attempt to hide the damage by using a concealing glaze on your paint. You will be amazed at how much extra gloss and depth to the paint work there is once a correct machine polish procedure has been conducted.
I think my car looks good enough, I don't want a machine polish. Can I option the package without it?
Bright Shine Detailing has a huge following of car care enthuisiasts in the Sydney area because we pride ourselves on the absolute quality of our work. Every vehicle we work on carries our personal signature, therefore every single vehicle needs to look perfect to protect our untarnished reputation. Even though you may believe your vehicle looks great, others may not - and this in turn will hurt our word of mouth. Body Armour 9H is a permanent coating, therefore any defects in paintwork not removed will be "locked in" under your new clear coat.
If you do not share the same passion for perfection as we do, sadly we will not work on your vehicle.

PRE-SALE DETAIL
- Full 2 bucket high pressure wash and rinse
- Wheels degreased and tyres glossed
- Machine polish, masking light swirl marks and cosmetic scratches
- Blended carnauba or synthetic wax applied by hand, sealing the paint from contaminants and increasing the depth and gloss of your paint
- All exterior plastics treated and dressed to help resist fade
- Full interior vacuum
- Air vents, seat rails and all crevices are brushed, dusted and wiped
- All interior carpets and mats shampooed and deodorized
- Seats shampooed removing stains (fabric seats only) or leather cleaner and conditioner sealing in moisture and protecting from the sun (leather seats only)
- Engine Bay safely degreased and glossed

PAINT CORRECTION
Paint correction, or "cut and polish" as it is commonly known, is a complex process of removing microns of paint from the surface. There is no "one size fits all" solution with paint correction.
Some paints are soft, some are very hard, some have scratch resistant clear coats like the late model German cars. Specific paints need specific polishes and this is where Bright Shine really excels at what we do.
If your vehicle has moderate to heavy swirl marks, deep scratches (very deep ones need to be sanded first) or oxidisation (paint colour change), you will need a machine polish. This kind of work is very time consuming, however the results are spectacular! Speak to us first if your paint is in bad condition and you are thinking about a re-spray, we may be able to save you thousands.

STAGE ONE MACHINE POLISH (RECOMMENDED FOR PAINT IN FAIR CONDITION)
Car is washed and claybarred. One coat of finishing polish compound is applied, followed by wax sealant.

STAGE TWO MACHINE POLISH (RECOMMENDED FOR PAINT IN POOR CONDITION)
Car is washed and claybarred. One stage of medium cut compounding polish is followed by a finishing compound. Topped off with wax sealant.

Time needed: 4 - 6 hours
STAGE THREE MACHINE POLISH (RECOMMENDED FOR PAINT IN VERY BAD CONDITION)
Car is washed and claybarred. Deep scratches are wet sanded. One stage of heavy cut compound on a wool / hard foam pad is followed by a second less abrasive product to remove marring and holograms created by the heavy cutting. Completed with a finishing polish and followed up with sealant wax.
